Cabin and Lodge Rentals
Our ten guest cabin rentals opened with six cabins in October 2003 and four more cabins added in 2014. Our Guest Cabins provide both comfort and convenience. With electric baseboard heat and a wood burning fireplace and A/C in every cabin, comfortable queen and/or single beds, a full kitchen and furnished sitting and game area, you have a pretty sweet cabin. As a nice bonus for the romantics, we have five cabins that include two person whirlpool tubs facing the wood burner.
A new Lodge opens in late spring, 2025. Our two story 4-bedroom Lodge features four queen size beds suitable for up to eight people along with 2-1/2 baths. One bathroom has a shower with the 2 nd bathroom with a tub/shower combo. We included a 2 nd -floor lounge area with a small fridge and coffee maker. The 1 st -floor entrance is at ground level with a full 10’ covered porch and includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 8 and sitting area in front of a wood burning stove for ambiance. Full Fiber Optic WiFi service along with a mounted smart TV in the sitting area and in-house washer and dryer add to the available amenities. Ample storage areas for a comfortable getaway. In-floor heat all around along with A/C for those hot summer days. Outdoor firepit and picnic table with parking for 4 vehicles at the lodge itself. Set up for a perfect getaway with family or friends…or both!

Our cabins face a rambling stream and the Moshannon State Forest complete with fire rings, porch swings, picnic tables and stand-up charcoal grills. Add a gathering area with a picnic pavilion and large stand-up grill, an on-site walking trail along the old Buffalo and Western Railroad bed, horseshoe pitching court, and play & lounging area along with a separate “Shanty” that houses a laundry, TV with VCR/DVD, games, movies and a community phone for local calls. Then add in full WiFi access across all the Cabin and Lodge Grounds for online communication and entertainment. The Lodge sits above the RR bed in an old pasture and has its own private driveway accessed off of the main parking lot and offers rocking chairs on the porch for lounging and relaxing. To complete the package, the Guest Cabin and Lodge rentals also come with supplied indoor and outdoor firewood, dark skies, a wooded setting, no vehicles allowed on the Cabin Grounds, occasional wildlife like turkey, elk, bear & deer and an occasional train passing along the active railroad line sitting across the stream from the cabins. And all topped off with sincere, friendly and polite service.
