Go to shops for unique gifts or antiques; golf at any number of challenging and picturesque courses, visit the wineries along the Groundhog Wine Trail; travel in the PA Amish Country around Punxsutawney and Smicksburg; take in the 145+ year old Straub Brewery in St. Marys or the Victorian mansions and homes and quaint shops of Ridgway, the Chainsaw Capital of the world and home to the annual Chainsaw Rendezvous and the Appalachian Arts Studio; or experience any number of area festivals and fairs. Area State Parks have numerous outdoor programs and geocaching treasures are sprinkled throughout the area hills and valleys for those adventurous souls.
